My Angelfish Only Swim Around While Filters Off

Tank size, filter model and age of angelfish preferably.

If they are new o the tank they will just be adjusting, possibly for a few days, so whatever you do, don't keep turning the filter on and off - it will just confuse them and lead to water quality issues .

i have just got 2 angels and wen the filters off they swim around and if i put the filter on and switch the light off they swim around dont get it

Neither do I yet because for anyone to offer advice you have to supply the info requested .

Without that info I'd just say to keep the light and filter on, not to worry, and give them time.

just got my angelfish 4 days ago tank size is 3ft long 2 foot high dont now what filter is got it given. But they are fine wen lights off or with light on and filter off

They probably just need time to settle in. Keep the filter on, and switch your lights on and off as you normally would, and they'll soon get used to your routine

How long has your tank been set up, and what other fish do you have?

Just incase you weren't aware, Angelfish aren't a particularly active fish. They usually spend time in shoals.

Him and my Discus are my least active fish in my tank.

i only turn filter off wen i feed them. if i dont food just gets pushed up in the corner and the fish dont eat it so i turn it of and they come for it
