Hey guys! I bought some baby moss balls (so cute!) for my previous tank but they started to deteriorate in which case I had to throw them away. I got new ones from Petsmart, there are two of them and they are pretty big. I was just wondering everyones thoughts on moss balls in tanks in general! Are they good/bad/unnecessary? I haven't seen much stuff on them overall so I was just wondering everyone's opinions since I'm still sort of new at this!

I like mine. They help reduce algae and debris settles on them for shrimp and bottom feeders to find. They are super easy to care for and in my opinion totally worth it :)

They also do best on lower temp water, 68-78 f, any higher they will slowly deteriorate:)
