My dalmation molly keeps "kissing" the filter is there any reason for this

it is probably grazing on algae growing on the filter.

Well one of them is just a plain black molly, and the other looks like it's a gold doubloon molly.

the black one is female. don't know about the yellow and black.

From what I can see, she is probably not pregnant seeing as her belly isn't swollen.
