Looks like Cleveland isn't impressed with the Jays Max Scherzer putting up 5 runs in the first including 2 homers making Scherzer throw 38 pitches in the first.
I, as @bgarthe said, I hope I didn't just jinx Cleveland although Gavin Williams is pitching for Cleveland and he is tough to get 5 runs against. Although the Jays came right back with 2 in the bottom of the first...

The Braves still remain the best team in baseball in runs scored. 19-8 record, also the best in baseball. Harris II came in a clutch spot to get a pinch hit two run go ahead double in the 6th. He is truly the hottest player right now, and even tho he had the quad tightness, he still looks good. With a win tonight, the braves guarantee another series win, they have not lost one yet! This team is truly the hardest to beat right now.

Red Sox part ways with Cora and 5 members of staff amid rough start to '26'. Actually this was posted earlier today so most probably already know. Just seems a bit for something this drastic to happen so early in the season.
I wouldn't call myself a Jays fan, but I watch a lot of games. I wouldn't be surprised if Mad Max Scherzer were done. Age gets everyone.
The Jays are playing awful baseball this season - no cohesion, no team play. Everyone is playing as an individual. They got to be stars in the World Series, and they haven't planted their feet firmly in the new season. The injuries have been brutal, but they just aren't coming together as a team at this point.
Meanwhile, Boston has been rotting from the head down for a while. That's a poorly administered team.
I have a soft spot for Anthopoulos in Atlanta, as he's a Montreal Expos guy. I couldn't stand the Braves or Phillies when the Expos were still out there, but times change. How can you stick with rivalries when you don't have a horse in the race anymore? Maybe there's a baseball alt universe where the Expos and the Brooklyn Dodgers are playing in a tight game in the ninth.

Braves dropped game two last night, but the good news is Elder had a good start. 7 innings. Rubber game today!

Bad day for us Phillies Fans…. We need to re-group… There’s issues, we are sad….But I have beer! Fish fed, dog fed, frogs fed, and Wife has coffee. Life is good!

Can't say the result would have been different but Cleveland got ripped off on a non call by the umps. Totally obvious catcher's interference with 2 outs and bases loaded. The interference would have put Cleveland up by 1 with the bases still loaded but it ended up being the third out. Unfortunately Cleveland was out of challenges.
Hey, you guys have new life with Wheeler back in the rotation, he looked like Zack Wheeler against us saturday, that is for sure!

And when you think about it, 85% of our normal roation has been down since the get go this year, imagine the team with Smith-Shawver, Schwellenbach, Strider, and a better version of Reynaldo Lopez (currently struggling). We have the Tigers for 3 next at home! Gosh, I sure do need to make a home game soon, before it gets to dang hot out.

The Red Sox have a perfect record since the new manger came on board. They have now won one game in a row under the new manager. Guess all they needed was a new manager to solve all their issues.

Phillies fired Rob Thompson. It is good for them to have a veteran step up in Mattingly.
Tarik Skubal doing Tarik Skubal things right now. Braves down by one, going to the 7th.
