MLB 2026

LOL! Ballpark foods have come a long way from the best thing being a dog with stadium mustard. ;)
Yep, nuthin like a fried uncrustable with frutiy pebbles! lol

The braves are selling the "bat flip" burger. 50 bucks! Look up the ingredients, its absurd! No go for me, not droppin half a Benjamin on a burger lol

Odd bit of a stat with the Astros that Cleveland is currently playing. They have scored the most runs so far this year in the MLB yet are only 8-15 on the year. Thing is that they have also given up the most runs in the MLB. Their pitching staff has been hit hard with injuries.

I’m kinda hoping the Cubs win tonight making it 6 wins in a row. Fingers crossed…..they lead the Phillies 5-1 in the 8th atm. It’s a long season and many teams with the most wins may not be by October. Being a Cub fan since the 60s mean’s I’ve become used the phrase…”wait until next year”. Then 2016 came along. :yahoo:

Yahoo…..Cubs won 5-1.

LOL!! HEY!!! Not allowed to talk about 2016!

Actually it seemed like the Cubs were destined in beating Cleveland in 7 games. If Trevor Bauer had been able to pitch Cleveland probably wins that series. I mean what are the chances that a top level pitcher slices open a finger on his pitching hand messing with a drone right before the World Series? Even though I'm a Cleveland fan I totally enjoyed the series. Overall, one of the best series I've seen.

Funny thing with Cleveland (I'm still having a problem calling them the Guardians) and the World Series. Since 1995 they have been in 6 World Series and, if memory serves, lost all 6 in 7 games.

Well I guess you might not want me to mention 95’ either lol! Well, it’s weird to think about the Braves winning in 2021, the year they lose acuna , and they were under 500 at the all star break. One of those crazy miracle moments I suppose! Not to mention it went 6 crazy games, with the NLCS being one the best ever against LA before.

CLE is just always this close to peaking in the postseason, maybe they get hot this year in the postseason (they will prolly make it).

@fishorama sorry for yalls sweep against us, I am sad for yall but you have to give it to us, we have not sweeped yall at citizens bank park in 10 years!

Tonight’s the night, I feel it in my bones! It’s time to get on track…

Off the wall but I get such a kick out of Cleveland's third baseman Jose. To look at him you see a pudgy little guy that couldn't run to save his life yet he currently leads the league in stolen bases. I just like the way he plays all out. He is totally the heart of the team and I'm happy that he is signed through 2032.

Braves snapped the 6 game winning streak. They are still in the top 3 for best record as a team, 16-8, that's pretty dang good. Weiss is proving himself every day as a good coach to bring this team to another title.

On a side note, the mets have a 12 game LOSING STREAK! Holy cow!

At this point that means down but not out. ;)

Last year Cleveland was 15.5 games out with a 10-game losing streak but came back to win the division. Of course I want Cleveland to win but, at the same time, I just think it too early to care much about standings. ;) Still a 12-game losing streak is impressive but in the wrong way. ;)

Yeah I agree, I am just saying it can go either way. The braves lost 7 in a row to start, and never recovered, but I see your point!

We don't disagree at all. ;) ALL games count and Cleveland's comeback last year is not the norm or it wouldn't be an MLB record.

One thing I don't get is how many people think early games don't matter; win or lose. Last I checked the first game of the season counts just as much as the last. ;)

Another good point, starting off strong is just as important as finishing strong!

The Braves just took 3 of 4 in DC. We (for now lol) have the best record in the MLB. 18-8. JR Ritchie had a great MLB debut yesterday. 7 innings, 7 ks! Glad he stepped up.

Also, we still have Carlos Carrasco @jaylach . We had him last year, and I did not know we kept him. He just came up from AAA. He closed the game for us in the 9th, with Iglesias hurt, and giving Robert Suarez a day off, I think it was the right call. Harris II left the game after going 3-4 (as of right now the hottest player in baseball) with left quad tightness. Hopefully just a precaution. As stated.

The Mets have finally won two games in a row, so, with them being 9-17, they are def not out, they are still in it, just need a big bounce back.
