Definitely decided the Mbuna tank is the right one for me - as a beginner I have been doing my research and I am putting forward my ideas for approval !! Have Juwel 180, thinking suitable starting point would be 4 Lab Caeruleus, 4 Pseu Acei and 4 Pseu Saulosi - all juveniles. Any comments very welcome - particulary what colours I could expect as fish mature ?

Thanks

Rita

well, the caureleus are yellow, the acei are blue and the saulosi are blue/black males & yellow females. you maybe better with groups of 6 to start with and remove some when they get more mature if theres any trouble.

Starting out with more Saulosi is certainly a good idea - this way you are more likely to get a harem out of it. With Caeruleus and Acei this isn't a concern. I'd also go with a couple more Acei - they're practically shoaling fish and look incredible in higher numbers.
