Main tank and small tank

Hi all,

The PH in my small tank which i set up for breeding is about PH 8-9. The main tank however has gone down to 7 as I have had bogwood in there for months.

How do i get round this for moving fry into the main tank - that is - if this is a problem ?

can you buffer the pH of the smaller tank?

acclimate the fry very slowly so they are not shocked by the pH change
