Can anyone tell me what this lump is and what to do to help please?

Temp 26°
GH 139ppm
KH ©80ppm
pH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0.25
Nitrate 40 (23 in tap, was 40 without fish- maybe due to sand or pebbles?)

8 neons in 125 litre tank, moved on Saturday with established filter media and substrate (both in new filter) from 60 litre tank. No other livestock. Had neons for 4-5 months.

Water change 60% weekly
Filter media cleaned 2 weeks ago in tank water
Chemicals: API conditioner, Seachem Flourish, Juwel bacteria (little bag for filter that came with tank).

It may just be a cyst. If it is it will grow and then pop. Is it red, open, or fuzzy?

Thank you for the reply! I've been worrying a lot (neon tetra disease ????). No, no redness or fuzz.

No it's not neon tetra disease.

It could be a cyst or alkalosis or dermocystidium disease, most likely a cyst or physical damage caused by being moved the other day.

Monitor it and if it changes or gets worse, post more pics.
