Look What I Got!

It makes bubbles in the water and the fish like playing in the bubbles.
Also airstone are good when you are using meds, cycling a tank, and hot weather.
You would need to buy an air pump, tubing, gang valve back flow valve.

I know you are excited about the new tank and want the fish in, but patience usually pays off.

yea i am excited

but i have a 6 inch pleco, a molly, 3 zebras, and two goldfish all in a 10gal right now
that i clean and matain everyother day because the tank is so over stocked.

and i will talk to my gf about the bubbler when she awakes

Why does he/she need a Guage valve and everything? I always just bought a pump and some tubing and a air stone.

Add the goldfish when the bubbles have gone, they soon will cycle a tank.
Gang valves you can turn the flow up and down.
You need the back flow plastic thing to be on the safe side.

To be honest I would just keep the goldfish in the 55 gallon.
You need a 100 gallon filter with goldfish, massive waste producers.

i like my two goldfish, if i drop them in that tank, then i have a chance of killing them, sides then i would half to move them back to the 10gl
could i drop my pleco in there or would this kill him

If you add the fish now to the tank which has bubbles on the glass, they could get gas bubble desease, which is bubbles beneath the skin.

Don't add the plec he will suck on the goldfish slime coat, and they need a cycled tank.

I agree I would rehome the goldfish.

the gold fish are staying in my 10gal for now, they are small enough that they can stay there

i am moving the pleco, my molly and the 3 zebras to the 55, and i am trying to get this cycling thing done
it sounds i need a couple of fish, and feed them little, and chcek the water, and do a few changes

I would move the goldfish first and leave the rest of the fish in the other tank.
The goldfish will cycle the main tank fast.
I would go and buy a 100 gallon filter if you are keeping the goldfish.

We can only offer advice its down to you if you follow it.

Besides, the pleco will kill everything as all they do is poop and you end up doing water changes twice a day! Just put the goldy in there, and then get rid of him after the cycling is over.

i have a overstocked 10gal, with no annmonia, and a 7.2 for the p/h
i have cold water fish living with tropical fish
and they are all living happy, i feed my gold fish oranges, and my pleco sweet peas
the water in that tank is perfect
the only reason why i bought this tank is for the pleco to grow bigger, and get out of the small tank
i also wanted to add more mollys, and a few more zebras, but i can do this unless this tank is set up

I doubt very much your water quality is great with all the fish in a 10 gallon.
You cannot move a plec to a cycling tank you will kill him.
Best to leave him in the cycled tank to the main tank has cycled.
You could rehome the goldfish once the main tank has cycled.

No way can you have more fish if you keep the goldfish.

What kinda test kit do you have?
i have a api test kit, and ive double checked all of it

i even have petsmart check the water in that tank weekly
my 10gl tank is clean because i do a 30% water change everyotherday, clean the filter, and i love bio-wheels, they help out alot
