check itt out i got a 55gal tank :D
its getting ready to have fish put in there
i got 50 gls of reg water
and then i got 5 gls of water from my ten gl

my ph is having a hard time of coming down, its at 7.5
My anmonal is sitting in the middle, and i need to know the best way to get that down.
i have all these little bubbles stuck to the side of the tank?
Right now theres no fish in there.

Its a nice tank set up. I am using a bio-wheel, a 200 watt heater.

I just need some help on getting my p/h and anmonal down before i start putting fish in it.

Is the tank still cycling.

So you got the fish ready to go into the main tank.
How much water have you left in the tank they were in.
You have to match temp and ph.
Plus with adding most of the water from the tap you can't add the fish till the bubbles have gone.

and yea the 10 gal has a enough water in it

i have 3 zebras, a molly and a 6inch pleco going in the 55 gl tank

SWEET. I too am not to fond of the red and blue gravel or the blue plantsd, but again, to each there own. I have always done a cycle with a couple of feeders. People may not agree, but that method is most convient for me. If you do decied to do a fish cycle, i would recommend getting like 10 rosey red minnnows from your lfs and put them in there. Then feed them and do a 25 percent water chagne every 2 days, adn feed sparingly. My tanks are usually read to be used in 2-2 1/2 weeks. Also, what size Bio-Wheel is that? It looks dinky. If it is a 30, you need another 30g filter to filter that tank.

Zebra danio's are meant to be hardy fish alot of people use them for cycling a tank.
But if I still had the tank they were in I would take the fishless cycle route, as its not nice watching fish in a cycling tank, as the ammonia and nitrite can damage there gills and burn there skin.

Any bubbles on the glass in the new tank.

its a biowheel 200

this tank kit came with a filter, but i really like bio wheel

ok so buy some really cheap fish, and drop them in there?
and i have put some water from my 10 gal in there, is this helping me?

could i just drop my zebras in there, or would they die?

You would have to climatise them to the new ph slowly.
I wouldn't be so much in a rush to add the fish to the new tank.

Takien from the link.
Bubble gas desease.
Water in a newly filled tank will be supersaturated with gases and you will see the gas bubbles covering the inside of the tank. The more that the water is agitated as you are pouring it in for the first time, the less supersaturation you will have. Agitation of water releases gas from it. Normal aeration will speed up the time that it takes for this excess gas to leave the water. When the bubbles on the tank disappear, then it is safe to put your fish into the new water.

Its not safe to put them in the tank then.
You need to run an airstone.

Put a air stone in there. I didnt mean Zebra Danio's. I meant theese: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...v%3D2%26hl%3Den

They are a Variation of Fat Head Minnow. They are near impossible to kill. iterally. I have one missing half it's fave and it survived over a week! They are usually sold at petsmart for about 13 cents or any other lfs.

Its a stone that you buy for around 70 cents and you put a air line tube on it and it puts bubbles of air into the tank.
