And I just found another one! This one is a high fin pepper. Wowee! I just put the two biggest fry from the fry tank in with all these others. I'm starting to think they're bronze, but we'll see in a few weeks.

Awe they are so cute at that age , and congrats to you. Does your young hi-fin already show the distinctive longer dorsal and pectral fins? I know mine start growing them quite early and are easy to tell apart from normals once they are the size of the ones in your pictures.

That's how I could tell it was a hi-fin ... it's already noticeable! I only saw him for about five minutes yesterday ... haven't seen him (her?) since. I'm just loving watching these babies grow up! Can't wait until the others are big enough to put in with their siblings, parents and cousins.
