Just been to my LFS (GM Kevin) and the poor betta they had last week has gone to fishy heaven (or gone anyway) I was really bad and the chap behind the counter said he could order me a betta with the next batch. So I left him my phone number, thinking well I can tell hubby someone gave it to me......just realised they will ring and hubby doesnt work thro ill health so he will answer the phone. Oops!!

Ok but how will I know they have rung then!! Bet they wont ring anway, they are not very reliable. Some woman I know was supposed to be bringing me her nipped betta Friday but she didnt. I told her I dont care what state it is in I will have it!

What kind of fish store doesn't have at least a few bettas in stock all the time? That seems odd to me.

Not where we live in the UK bettas are in shops only about 24 hours and then they are sold. Apart from females there are about 5 shirty madams in the LFS.

What about the answering machine wouldn't they just leave a message or have them call your work or cell phone.

wouldnt get your hopes up with GM! damn...i doubt theyd ring you. youd have to bug the hell out of them, im going to try to order some through duston aquatics, they got a albino or golden one in the other day...i got a really nice pink/purple/red/white one today!
