So a while back i asked about KH and GH, which i now understand....however, i still have a question
KH is my 'buffer' which keeps the PH at a steady level, GH is my hardness. Fine. But on the API kit is gives examples of the fish that can cope with each condition, i.e. cardinals is 0-3 drops, or 0-50PPM. I understand that for hardness, BUT, surly i would want my KH, the buffer, to be as high as possible to save PH swings?! API suggests i want it as low as possible
