Just Found A Dried Up Channa Pulchra On Floor

I'm gutted I have 6 of theseand found the biggest and best one on the floor about 6 feet from the tank, it was all driend upp

I only slid tankl lid across once last night to feed and don;t remember hearing anything jump out and I know its not done it when lid on

arghh well a reminder that these fish jump very well!!!

dam such a shame mate, sorry for the loss, that's my main fear, i have scouted all over my tank's making sure there's no secret escape route's....

Do you have floating plant's in your tank? i have a blanket of duck weed in my ornatipinnis tank and sp assam tank, trying to get a blanket cover in the 5ft but it's taking for ever, feel it help's that situation alot, maybe they were chasing and picking on it to the point it felt it had to jump ship
