What fish has the biggest personality?
I know this is kind of a matter of opinion...
Just thought it be nice to hear about different types of fish and their huge personalities.

I am kind of digging my African cichlids. More fun to watch than TV!

my dwarf chain loaches are brilliant to watch and interact with
will always follow you around the room like in evan almighty
the same with my male German blue ram
he will always fight for attention

Personally, I like my male gourami. He's constantly exploring the tank and acting as if he didn't just see that rock five minutes ago. Whenever I go near the tank he immediatly tries to stare me down. He's a very active fish and although he may be a bit aggressive, he's the most curious fish I've had.

Apistogrammas and gouramies. Personally, I think that any fish that is not easy to breed/fry easy to raise will still maintain some of that natural behavior, that natural "Jenesequa." which makes their personalities standout to us.

My cichlid has an amazing personality, but then again I haven't really seen my bettas much as he is in a tiny little bowl until I take the cichlid to the store

I have so many with funny quirks.

Jethro one of my large rescue plecs will not move out of the way when I gravel vac unless I scratch his head between his eyes for a few moments first.

Harry my red spot severum likes to have his belly tickled on wc day (so do both my Urau)

Rambo my little rainbow cichlid has the biggest attitude he will bite me and chase my hand around the tank when I am doing maintenance.

Rusty one of my oscars will come upto the glass and "kiss" me every night when I turn out his light, he wont do it any other time.

Chops my other oscar is a pain in the backside but I love him. If I am late feeding him he will splash and flick water out of the tank.

My pictus cats before they moved tank used to play peek a boo with you, if you ducked down in front of the tank they would come to the front and look for you.

Fish are amazing animals.

From personal experience my small group of botia kubotai I used to own were right little characters.

I'm told Oscar's are quite fun to own sometimes too

This is Bob my flier cichlid, the first two video's are of him trying to get my attention, the first time he started doing this I was worried he was sick and I spent more time by his tank, then I realised he was attention seeking!!

My Gourami is quite a character, he's always looking at me when I go by and sometimes will feed from my hand.
I have seen him spooking the neon tetras once in a while and he likes to play with my cat :O

I would 100% agree with the oscar. Albino oscars seem dumb though :p

Black skirt tetras also have interesting personalities as well as puffers

I wish I could have an Oscar. :(
I just feel like I'm missing out...
I do love Gator, my common pleco. But as far as personalities....... well... he hates me. Its unrequited love.
