just to satisfy my curiosity , could 1 of the mods please tell me how the mods are appointed? are they approached , do they apply or is it kind of a combination of the 2?

I have modded a few forums and I was always approached.... But all forums are run differently and by different kinds of people..

But in all seriousness its ajoint decision by the mods then that person is approached.

kinda like the lottery adverts then where the big hand points out of the sky and say iiits you!! and simon for breaking the code of the secret underground society , im sure the fish gistapo are coming for you . i would reccomend that you find a safehouse and hide until it all blows over. that way maybe you can avoid beink stretched on ze rack

the discus have settled quite well. 2 eat none stop and are making some progress, 2 don;t!! typical discus eh!!

my LFS has some lovely larger ones in £45 each.... tempting!!

yep even tho they are greedy pigs discus can be finnicky when it comes to food. for the 2 that are not eating try some livee brine shrimp. sometimes that can work well to trigger feeding . juat out of curiosity what are you feeding em ?

just flake and frozen brine, blood and mysis

give this stuff a try its really good . ive recently got mine on it , its got a really good protein content which is what you want for discus , and the guy who developed it is a highly respected discus breeder . i have got mine on the "grand champion" and they are doing very well on it . tetra prima is very good as well mine love it .
