4 foot tank..

It's obviously not massive - but it's obviously not SMALL!
Collecting tomorrow and will start the long process of cycling the tank!
She's including her media (which was used for 2 months) and we will do a little transplant from a few in our tank tomorrow too, as well as a filter squeeze so hopefully it should be up and running soon

Like I said, I'm getting a new tank for Christmas so she's not alone because I already have 2(a 15 gallon hexagon tank and a 12 gallon long tank) I'm also only 14.

im near leeds ill be advertising them on forums plus all the plants black sand heaters fx5 filter and the fish which includes some L number plecs hypans and peckolitia mainly but like i say it wont be untill into the new years

Congrats on the tank. With that much mature media going in I'd imagine you'll have a practically insta cycle. What is going in it? N how are you cycling?

I'll be using 'Nitrafin Cycle+'

After adding all the mature media you will need to supply the tank with a source of ammonia otherwise the bacteria on the media will die. The ammonia source should be bottled ammonia preferably, but you could also use fish or rotting fish food/dead prawns.
