haha...i haven't looked at this in a while. i didn't think it got that many replies! guess i'm wrong ) lol. soo many things it could be!!! i didn't realize that there was a coldwater section here. lol. i'll check things out there then.

BTW....whatever they are, they eat these minnow-like feeders i bought for my catfish whole. the things barely fit in their mouth! yet they eat about 3 each not long after i put them in there!

I think it's the bass that's 5 bass from the top not counting the one that has a center pic, but just to be safe I wouldn't let it go in the wild until it's a little bigger and you're possitive it's a bass.

Hi, I used to have one of those. I let it go though. I caught it in lake Mead NV, while SCUBA diving. it is illegal for your LFS to sell them. i call them "rock bass" but I really dont know what kind they are.

the fish in question is a green sunfish. some get it confused with a pumpkinseed or longear sunfish.

to me it looks like a small mouth bass because its longer than a sunfish
