Yes, get a TDS meter - they are very cheap and an excellent suggestion for someone to buy you for Christmas

every day is getting slower and slower for me i need a orca tl 550 now

i will have £250 by the 6th of december also i didnt have a enough time to trade my catfish so im doing it on the weekend. me,my mum and dad are going to different a pet shop in ipswich to see how good it is and to see if they have a orca in there. only brcause we looked at there web site (vikingaquatics.co.uk) and in the shop display there i could see the orca . but it could a fresh water one

also would a toadstool coal grow to big for an orca tl550 because i did see one and it was very big

thanks for your help. it may be a slight change of plan for tank wise my dad thinks that the tank is a bit to wide (57cm) for my room. but i might still get it. anyway it could be a juwel rio 125

im not getting a orca now but im getting a juwel rio 125 cheaper (£219.99 from seapets with stand) i can now controll what skimmer i can put in the tank i have the money for the tank and for other stuff
i dont thik i can be in the orca club any more LoL

I wouldn't buy it - you don't need five astreas and one turbo

the 10 sand sifting are fine - the ceriths and Nass

But I would just buy one hermit (blue leg as they are harder workers) and maybe add another one later

You just want a couple of astreas to start with
