multiple deseases have ravenged my tank and killed most of my fish. When i finish treating the tank i want to put something new into it. The tank is a Ten gallon.

I am not interested in livebearers, betta splendens or zebra danios.

i was thinking of chiclids but i dont know how big they get. Ditto for discus. Sharks i find facinating but i think they get too big. i might consider schooling fish.

can anyone help?

You could go with some of the smaller shell-dwelling cichlids from Lake Tanganyikan. They look awesome, I am getting some for one of my smaller tanks.

Multis

how bout tetras? pygmy cories? urm, dwarf or honey gouramis? nawt alot u can put in a small tank like that. u can hav shrimp.......... ummm.......... idk. i dont think cichlids can go in a 10 gallon. they get 2 big for that small a tank. mosquito fish?? Mosquito Fish link@The Aquarium Wiki i helped edit that page :D they r dull, but very interesting. but theyre livebearers, so idk if u would want them..... they stay fairly small tho. theyre max. size is 1.5", thats 4 the females. males get about 1". i <3 them

ok thanks, :) i think i will go with german blue rams or maybe swordfish. if they dont work out i might get honey gouramis

I think Platies get too big also, have you seen the size of them fully grown. They look best in a large group aswell, I would love a tank full of platies, just breeding away!!!

The only Pleco really suited to that tank would be a small group of Pitbull Plecs.
