The thing to remember is that some people just like the look of non-aquatic plants and are happy to replace them every few months, in full knowledge that they will never get them to grow underwater. So even the big aquatic plant growers (aquafleur and dennerle) sell a few non-aquatics. You cant really blame them for maximising their profit potential. It does annoy me however when LFS sell them as aquatic plants, which is a blatant lie as far as I am concerned.

I totally agree, thing is, in this instance it appears as if even Aquafluer aren't saying that it's non-aquatic, in fact they tell you where and how it should be in an aquarium. It's only from the document that the people on ThinkFish ahve put together, and from what people have said on here that I now know that it's non-aquatic.
That can't be 'proper' behaviour can it?
No wonder so many people think that live plants are a waste of time, and that they can't grow them well etc etc.
I bought the liquid feed, and the clay balls for these plants, and if they had just died off (and I HADN'T found out that they were non-aquatics) then I would probably have given up on live plants all together, feeling that I did everything I could and still failed.
It seems an absolute shame that people will end up not having live plants, purely because the suppliers and the LFS's don't advise them that they are short-term non-aquatics. :(
