Id My Pike Cichlid

ya don't really have to use feeders. I would like to see the fishes diet veried a bit more than just blood worms though. for example, my pikes besides their staple pellet food, they also eat raw scallops cut into small peices of course, cocktail shirmp I use the pre cooked kind here but so long as they are deshelled and deveined your still good and again cut them into mouth sized bits, frozen sliver sides which again I usually cut in half for the fish, and the semifacita doe like to partake in some frozen BBS from time to time. I truely belive though that the fish should be in a staple pellet diet of some sort or at the very least have a veried diet. and when your dealing with 2 different species it can get challenging let alone both of them being wild caught fish.

Oh yeah, that was just to get him feeding. I feed all sorts to all of my fish, I've got a freezer drawer stuffed full of prawns, shell on prawns, mixed whiteworms, blackworms, bloodworms, frozen mysis shrimp/artemia, cockles, mussels, etc.

I've also got some cichlid gold but it's still a bit big at the moment. Won't be long though, he's growing fast.

What are the rules on mixing pikes?
