ich treatment

Hi,

I'm currently treating for Ich in my malawi tank and was slightly concerned after something I read that porous rock in a tank can effect the medication (malachite green in this case) and effectively reduce its concentration rendering it less effective. I have been treating the tank for 5 days now and still seem to be getting more fish infected and having a tank full of tufa rock thought this could be an issue. I was wondering if in anyones experience treating for ich this had been a problem?

get rid of the rock because my ick goes away on my africans within 3 days and i also use malachite green.
