Hey all I have been wanting to start a journal on my progress with my tank. So i finally decided to do it. I have seen the beautiful working of gf225, jimboo, fknm, lljdma06, Craynerds and many more. Everybody has truely inspired me with there beautiful aquascaping, gorgeous plants and creative themes! So here I go starting a journey into the unknown with you guy/gals to guide me.
At this present moment I have:

Fish:

2 Black Skirt Teras
2 Angelfish
2 Convicts ( 10 babies )

Flora:
Moneywort
Amazon sword
Java moss
Java Fern

Thanx for the encouragement. I have to take some pics and ill post them in a little bit

Hey all sorry for the wait. I went to my lfs and they didnt have anything that i wanted at all. I want some new plants and will probably get them tomorrow. But here are some pics of my tanks hardscaping for now. I had done a major clean up because my plants were starting to die i need to upgrade on my light!! So right now i am left with a million peices of amazon sword, java moss and java fern.
I have a question I want more fish to bring out the color of my tank do any of you have any ideas??
So here goes the pic (sorry about the quality need a new camera)

Good start mate, i like the wood, is it bogwood? Maybe you could attach some java moss to it and it would look cool covered in moss, might be tricky though..
What lighting do you currently have?
And any co2?

You've got a really nice start there! I like your driftwood arrangement and I love your angels!! :D

As far as colorful fish go, platies are nice fish that come in all sorts of colors, strong and fast enough to stay away from your convict, yet won't hurt your plants or bother your angels.

:)

Looking good so far, need a few more plnat IMO but its a good start :)

Thanks. No its not bogwood its just a bunch of twisted roots I stuck in the ground. There is some java moss on 1 peice of wood but it hasn't grown much. I have the stock light but will be getting an upgrade arond the 24 of may when my bday is!! :D I have DIY CO2 kit.

Im sure its not the first and definately wont be the last. Getting them online is a good way round this if your LFS is a bit poor on the plant front. Try:

Greenline

and

Birstall
