How is the fella settling in?

Here it is. Settling in ok. Pretty active considering it has been on a overnight journey. Has some lovely markings.

No sign of blue eyes, but nice deep red on the fins. It doesnt show too well on my camera but you can make it out. The dorsal fin is really deep, but havent been able to get a camera shot of it as now he is in he wont lift it up! Only did for a second in the bucket. Will try to get one over the next few days

Sorry about the quality of the last pic. Its very bright day today - will have to get one later under tank lights instead of daylight.

He/She is getting one well. Nicely settled in. Been very active! Not taking any gip of the cichlids either which is great!

wow thats a beauty. I am now on the lookout for a smaller plec, those pics have made my mind up.

This one has made me want a plec tank even more Its a good job I set the tank up with cichlids really, else I would have ended up spending a fortune on fancy plecs, but of course I cant in this one due to water parameters - The decision to go with cichlids has saved me a fortune!

He/She has its dorsal fin up a lot now, but its upsidedown inside a cave, so cant get any photos at the moment, but will try and get another of it up when its out in the open. The colour is really nice.
