Hydra Removal

I posted a topic the other day about how I thought I had a strain of hair algae, it turns out, it's actually Hydra.

Now I have very limited experience with Hydra, due to it's overall rarity in this region, and I have come to the conclusion it must have come in from some plants I bougt a few months back and just layed dormant. However, now that I'm feeding the hybrid fry on my own ground down food, it seems to have taken hold, not massively, but if I look hard enough, I can see it.

So, anyone have any decent tips for removal?
I've done a bit of research on the matter and so far the best methods I've seen have been using Panacur (applied directly to the regions) either that or extreme heat for 5-10 minutes, but with the max heat my heaters can go up to being 34C, I don't see how I'm going to manage that (with fish taken out of course).

Other treatments include Spixi snails, but they might as well be made out of Gold dust for how easy they are to obtain at this time of year.

Any ideas peeps?

They can be hard to get rid of but ive read that mollies love to eat them?

Yeas, exactly what I've seen (E.g. Panacur)

In regards to the mollies, I don't like the idea of adding fish to cure a problem. Also, I have a tank full of hyrbid guppies, and would like their tails intact.
