How do i get the green stuff off the leaves of my plants? I am going to be taking all plants out tonight to relayout them. Any suggestions?

live or plastic ... if they are plastic... just give them a clean

If they're live, its not really practical to scrub them clean, it would obviously tear the leaves, so either some algae eating fish (but not plant eating) or just drop the amount of light in the tank,

Plants with tough leaves like Anubias can be scrubbed, I use a piece of filter sponge and it scrubs off nicely.

if you get some filter floss
and wipe the leaves gently
you will find that the filter
floss takes it off

the algae problems will return if the issues arn't addressed. What kind of algae is it?

The ones having the problems are the crypts and java ferns. The rest are fine!
