How to cycle a pond?

Just today finished the pond. It is around 4000/5000 litres (1000 gallons). I am using the oase bio smart 14000. It will have goldfish in. Just wondering how to cycle it. I am going to add liquid beneficial bacteria. Any tips appreciated

I used Tetra Safe Start+. It still took about three weeks but I got there. I did a fishless cycle.

Thanks. I’ve got some beneficial bacteria could I put maybe fish in and gradually add more. I also read say I put a dead shrimp and let it dissolve to start

You can but read up n “Fish In” cycling. You will have to f a lot more water change and it will take longer for your nitrates to build. It’s not good for the fish and I don’t recommend it but some people do it. Perhaps some will come along to comment.
