Jesus...

Im half way through my gravel change operation. Ive successfully moved (tempo)

2 Swordtails
2 Gouramis
4 Platies
2 Guppies
50 Fry
1 rasbora

But now... im stuck.

There are 5 neons and 1 common plec left in the tank, and i cant for the life of me catch them!!

Wish me luck xD

Pics of the crammed tank coming shortly..

Ok, i just got the plec out... BUT I CANT GET THE NEONS.... *cry*

EDIT: Neons are out now too :D. Mr. betta is pissed. Its his tank and their are 25 fish swimming around him lol. (He is bagged)

why didn't you just leave the fish in the tank and scoop the gravel out with a net. Then add the new stuff a bit at a time.

Best way to remove fish is to lower the water level to an inch or so and use 2 nets. Kind of herd them with one net into the other. It's really pretty easy once you've done it once or twice.

Keep an eye on the 2 guppies in the betta tank. If he happens to see them nearby, he will probably attack as they see the large tails as another betta.

Dont worry, betta is bagged :)

probably casue when he scopps the gravel up he's gonna get all the crap come up with it so he would need 2 drain the tank 2 get it all out anyways so i would guess this is the easiest way 2 do it

good luck with the fish m8 lol bet uve caught em all by now :)

take the brown leaves off the sword mate, i can see three leaves that can be removed. it will promote new growth rather than the plant wasting resourses on these leaves.

The only way to net fish that you can't get is to buy one of the massive nets that virtually cover the surface of the tank and swoop up from underneath and you'll catch the lot at once!

Well, everything is done!! :- :drinks:  :cake:

All i need to do now is wait for the tank temp to rise a little (17.3 atm) and then i can put the fishies back inside.
