Honey Gourami sexing

Hi I’d like help sexing these two. Based on dorsal fins I think one male and one female. Second photo very clearly has a pointed dorsal fin indicating male? First fish is smaller but dorsal fin does not come to a point, would this or any other attributes suggest female?

Thanks Howard. Will be interesting to see if others agree. As soon as I added them to tank they brightened right up, ‘she’ was much paler and he didn’t have the blue/black shade that is starting to appear. It also looks like he’s been nesting...

I have 4 of the little darlings, but mine are still very young and are only about just over an inch long.

Howard is exactly right. The only other thing I might add is that the females tend to be a bit drab compared to the male.

Assuming they are both the same size and sexually mature, you have a pr (1 male and 1 female). Female has the shorter rounded dorsal (top) fin, male has the longer pointed dorsal fin.
