He's Big, He's Bad, He's Beautiful...

Ok, I've had this fish for a few months, and he has managed to triple his size, even being kept in a 10gl (Please, no flames about this, he's being moved to a 120gl shortly or being brought to my work, Petsupermarket). I've been searching everywhere for what he is, and the closest thing I could find is a sunfish. If anyone has any idea what he is, it will be greatly appreciated!

Wow, you're right... he does look like one. I never thought about looking at tilapia pictures. Does anyone know what the right tank size for this sucker would be? Or anything about them?

i know they are the tastiest fish i will ever eat. also i know that they are fast swimmers and need alot of room, especially that big guy.

my lfs has one exactly the same (only slightly more pick). we were talking about him the other day but ive completely forgotten the name. going back today though so i shall find out for you. the one they have is in a 100gal tank coz they get pretty big. lots of rocks, only a few plants and with no other fish in the tank.

I have a cat called Mosschops, only we call him Mozzie most of the time.
Not that he looks like a fish in any way! And that is a lovely looking fella you have there i.w.k. Defo get that 120g for him to play in.
