Help With A Silly Question

I shall have a read of that. It's a lot to take in in one sitting lol.

Waterdrop
Would the PH be more stable on my 240 than my 30l nano? As there is more water volume? Or won't this make a difference as it's buffering capacity? There's a natural spring near me. Perhaps I could try that for my nano obviously after checking the parameters. We used to drink from it all the time as kids as did many others. I'm still here

Ahhh thanks WD! So my GH and KH is 3. That's very soft yes? Do you think it may be worth putting a bit of crushed coral in a bag in there to raise this? From what I understand GH is what determines how hard or soft the water is and KH is the waters "buffeting capacity". providing that I only slightly raise the KH this should make my PH more stable? Also, a slightly raised GH will be better for my shrimp? Please correct me if I'm wrong :)

My GH and KH are around the same, and I dont have any problems. I just do larger water changes - all my water chagnes are in the region of 30-50% instead of 10-20% :)

I'll just do that then. Larger water changes and weekly ph checks should do the trick?
