Help Sex My Firemouths Please

Hi i need help sexing my firemouths, could some1 please do this for me.

Pics are confusing. Perhaps take some different pics of your fish against a plain black or white background. Even the colour of the wall behind would be less distracting than the current backing. Also i appreciate you only have a camera phone as you said, but there a tad too blurry to really make out the fish, adjusting the backing colour might make it ok to see the fish properly.

i cant remove that background as it is vinyl not a cheap £3 one, i do have another tank i could put them in for a couple of pics tho, i will post more pics soon

I'm reckoning male and female, or dominant male and submissive male. But the pics aren't fantastic... it's easier to tell by behaviour. Do the tend to stick together? Or do they just 'exist' in the same tank?

they r not goldfish, they are printed on the background, its stupid i kno as its a marine design but i can assure they r not real

if by stick together u mean occasionally fighting then yh, if by just exist together u mean occasionally fight the yh...lol

but on the other hand they do spend alot of time together

Looks like you have a male and female then IMO.

I agree with kizno then. Particularly if they stick together. Two males or two females would just exist in the same tank they wouldn't spend much, if any, time together.

they are not always together but spend a few hours a day together and the smaller 1 follows the bigger 1

If they spend a few hours a day together it sounds like they are male and female.

And i pity the fool who thought they were real goldfish in this tank xD I have to admit i did have to take a second look to check i wasnt going made that there were clown fish(marine) and goldfish in with firemouths Not my choice in backgrounds i must say xD

Deffo a male and female,,The female being in the last pic,the male in first pic.....notice the fins on the male and shape difference on the body..

I swear that last pic wasn't there before....or at least it didn't load when I first looked. lol. Yeah it's pretty clear that it's a male and female when you have those two to compare.
