Help Needed Please :)

Hi, as some of you know im fitting a 3d backing on my tank.

Because of this i am putting back the juwel filtration unit in the tank (juwel trigon 190l)

If put one piece of the background on all fine, just cut the other piece in and its covering a couple of the vents for where im guessing the heater is.

There are 4 slots in total and 2 are covered...

will i be ok? i dont really want to cut a gap as i have the background cut in super tight

I had the same thing happen with a 125 ltr Juwel.
I opted for gently nibbling an angle leading to the slots so they were all uncovered.
It's easy just to say that it doesn't matter if a few were covered but you have to remember, contrary to belief, many hours and pounds were spent in developing the system so I gues it should be left in original spec......

Why don't you remove the internal filter and run an external filter then you haven't got any gaps in the background and you will have more space inside the tank.
