help?? my betta has a blister/tumor??

my betta, bulma, has seemingly overnight grown an oval lump on his side.hes for the most part active and eating well. it’s on his abdomen towards the back and is only accentuated on his right side. i’m really worried about him so if anybody could help me figure out what is wrong and how to treat this it’d be much appreciated. tank is 5 gallons. pictures attached

I can't see much but he does have a u shaped mark on his back between his head and the start of his dorsal (top) fin. These could be related and might be a bacterial infection.

How long has the tank been set up for?
How often do you do water changes and how much water do you change?
Do you gravel clean the substrate when you do a water change?
Do you dechlorinate the water before adding it to the tank?

Is there a filter on the tank?
If yes, how long has it been running for and how do you clean it?

Does he have a heater and what is the temperature?

How long have you had the fish for?

My 7” goldfish has two of these. Doesn’t act like he’s sick. Wonder if this is monitored at all. Hello?

7” goldfish in 50 gallon ceramic bowl outside has white smooth dome-shaped growths on two sides. About 1/3 inch. YIKES! What ARE they?
