dont expect it will be a neon, get a net if possible ot leave it in the main tank and add some moss or floating plants... you`ll be ok, dont panic :)

ps.. is there not an IMG code for that pic?

Can't see the pic...not likely a neon, they are very difficult to breed as they are quite particular about their water.

That dosent work :?

it wont be a neon the possibilty of breeding them and the eggs hatching is about 1 in 100000 without specialiat equipment. i cant see the picture could you post it on here or put it on flickr

Its a video lol!
Im guessing its from one of my 2 femail platies. Ive put the biggest one in the floater. Is it ok to put both fish in just in case?

(Copy the link into your browser and download vid)

if you need to put them both in,then put lots and lots of moss or floating plants in, otherwise the one will scoff them as fast as the other drops them :)

Definitely a livebearer fry...looks like a Sword to me, maybe a Platy. What was that you were saying about America in your vid? LOL

[Edit] It looks to be about a week old.

I suppose it is up to you whether you want to take the advice of a "terrorist"... LOL

Well, if it was a sword, would it actually have a sword at this moment? Or would it grow it?

In my tank i have:

1 Yellow Femail Platy With Black Stripes On Tail
1 Orange femail platy with black fins
2 Orange male platys
1 Yellow and orange swordtail male
1 yellow and brown swordtail male

How so? The only hard part about breeding neons is stopping them eating the eggs :). With very, very heavy plant growth it can happen, or if you get a breeding tank. Not hard if you want to try :).

That sounds like a video in the background :P.

As said, it looks like either platy or sword fry. Also very likely it's a hybrid.

Hi sean,

Do you all suspect its around 1 week old? If so, i should pretty much take the platy out the trap.
