About a year or two. You want to feed once a day ( your preference). it is a good idea to buy a new can of food every couple of months though so it stays "fresh".

They would be the same. They could go for weeks without food ( that is not recommended though) if they had too!

The time of day does matter in a sense because you wouldn't feed them a whole meal at 5:00AM and then feed them another at 5:30AM. Every 5-8 hours is good though, but you really should have a feeding schedule. This will help the fish not "beg" for food because their internal clocks know the next feeding time. I recommend buying an automatic fish feeder. Those are really a helpful tool!

Thats funny. I guess because a lot of people don't use the term LFS to tell about their fish stores .
