I was thinking some fish with big fins. Some color would be nice, but not necessary.

I would recommend guppies or mollys. They both fit your description and they both have color too which is a plus! There are also Hi-Fin Platys too look nice. The normal platys don't have the " long fins" though.

Mollys, never heard of those. A quick google search brought up some pics and they look good. Do you have any more information on them?

If you want mollies than I would recommend 4-5. If you get 5 you could also add a ghost shrimp or a snail too!

So back to what I was saying, with 5 mollys and 1 ghost shrimp, what kind of food would I need?

Oh you could have at least 10 ghost shrimp if you wanted too! They hardly produce any ammonia at all which is good.
