there are three ways

1. manually remove it, each time you see it :/
2. furnish the tank with alegea eating fish
3. use an anti-algea chemical.

If you wish to go the chemical route I recomend eSHa protalon-707
It is harmless to plants and bacteria and of course will not affect any aquatic life. Just don't get it on you cloths as it never comes out

I was going to throw out my plants with hair algae, put them in a small tank in the meantime which had shrimps, amazingly they cleared up and grew fatter and healthier than the same kind of plant in my main tank...

You need to find the cause of the problem and fix that, otherwise it will just keep coming back. Have you checked phospate levels in your tank?

Definately need to look into the cause, read some articles on planted tank ecology.

thekrib.com is a good place to start
