My large female guppy is swimming in an unusual way and looks to be struggling. Her head points downwards and swims regularly in a vertical position seemingly pushing herself back into a horizontal position. She has been swimming like this for a week now. No other fish in the tank show the same symptoms.

Any hope for her? Any ideas?

My guess is she has a dodgy swim bladder.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed the fish.

Are scales sticking out.
Does she look bloated.
What does it look like when she goes to the tilet.
Is her anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

Feed some shelled peas.
If you can issolate use a bacterial med.
