guppy (strange behavior) *Great news UPDATED12:58

i'm just as confused...

But I think you have it right...

i am saying, should I put the tank (that I had to boil's) filter in with the 29g as well as the no parasite 10's filter to help cycle all three filters., and just leave the parasite 10 tank dry for 24 hrs.

 This is getting funny.

Okay, we have one ten gallon, cycled, no parasites, completely healthy.

We also have a 10 gal, that had parasites, and is now boiled, sterilized, and empty.

Then we have a 29 gal, that also had parasites, boiled and sterilized, but it is filled, and cycling?

Before I go any further, do I have this right?

Oh, and where are the fish currently? In the 29?

sort of. I don't have the fish in the 29 yet, but I'm floating the bags, getting ready to put them in there to start the cycle.

the fish were in (before I bagged them) the boiled ten.

Okies. So.

I would put the filter from the 10 gallon in, that is cycled, and never had parasites. Since the 29 gallon is sterilized, and apparently rid of parasites, I do not think any would be going back to the 10 gallon when you take the filter out. Unless...the fish still have the parasite.

Okay...Now this is a choice of safe or sorry. I'd stay safe, and just let the 29 gal cycle on it's own. Another option would be to take the filter media from the 10, and then not put the media back in the 10, to be safe. Get new media.

i'll be safe and let it cycle by itself! Seeing as how we let this get out of hand  (well with all the confusion). I think it is poss that they are still infected. We'll be safe...

Now my next question (i promise not to cause a problem this time  )

My 2 largest whites fight all the time. If I beef up their school, will they stop fighting? And is 79 degs. to hot for any of these fish?

And finally, will I need to re-add salt to the aquarium (29) seeing as how I did a 100% water change? If so how much (1 tsp per 5 gs it what I had in there)

Yes, a larger school will spread out agression. 79 may be slightly high for the Neons and White Clouds. I think around 75 would be better.

And yes, add more salt. I don't know how much....just go by what it says on the container. :) Though 1tsp. per 5 gallons sounds about right. I know with my aquarium salt, by Dr. Wellfish, it's 1 tbsp. per 5 gallons. But it depends on on what salt you have.

same one.

Now I have put them in the 29. It seems now that the currents are 2 high for them :/. Is that bad, or will they be alright?

Currents too high?

Most fish like playing in the currents....watch them for a while, give them a bit to adjust. If they seem to be struggling, I'd turn down the flow. :)

I guess it was a shock. They just swim some where else when it starts to bother 'em :D

Oh and the whites are sticking together (i guess they are shoaling :D ) If one goes to the top the other two are right there with it.

Dey all so happy :D .

All with the exception of one preggy female gup. That male is STILL after her. He stalks her (is it possible that he don't think she is preggy? He mated with the other female, so he leaves her alone. Could that put the babies in jeopardy?) .

I wish I could tell him there's other fish in the sea...., erm aquarium.

EDIT: o 'bout the shrimp. How do I feed them those. Do I need to thaw 'em and leave them refrigerated after that or jus' break off a piece and warm it up, or what...

He's probably stalking her, to stress her into having the babies, so he can eat them.

What I do with the Brine Shrimp, is take the part I want out, then let it defrost in room temperature.

okay, great (brine shrimp advice).

the air difusers put too much current into the water :/ When they get to close to them, they get blown to the top...

Will they learn not to go near it, eventually? or should I find a way to tone it down a bit?

alrighty. Srry I was gone for so long, had to eat dinner
