Greedy Fish - Any Advice?

I have 5 female bettas, who seem to eat EVERYTHING I put in that tank, I also have 4 amano shrimp in there. The shrimp are fed every other day and the girls once a day. I've tried hiding the shrimp food but the bettas always seem to hunt the food out, even when I feed them at the same time etc.

Any other tips, worried about the shrimp and possible over eating.

My rainbows go mad when i feed, so I also snap an algae wafer in two and drop them in different parts of the tank (either side) so that the rainbows and red tail shark cant dominate if I drop a single one in.

Ye my two angelfish dominate the feeding time as well. Just drop a wafer to another part of the tank.

Thats a difficult one with feeding fairly,try not to feed every day,remember you control how much they eat...all my fish would stuff themselves until i stop feeding,greedy things...bellys sometimes look like there going to pop,i have to hide frozen shrimp in the rockwork for my ornate birchir

I'm actually having this same exact problem with my female betta in a community tank. It's my first experience with female bettas and keeping one in a community. I've been having to distract her and the guppies with flakes and dropping wafer for my cories in another spot. But in 10 minutes I can look back and my betta is carrying the piece of wafer in her mouth and the 6 guppies are chasing her like, "My turn!!! My turn!!" She's just big enough she can hold the piece while the livebearers in the tank can't. I'm worried she's going to hurt herself because she already bloated up once and I thought she was surely going to die on me. My boyfriend fed them an entire wafer. (Needless to say I had a talk to him about wafers and how one wafer can feed them all for a month)
