goldfish help

actually i havent been treating ich for a few days....it disapeared so i replaced the carbon and the next day remved it again and started treating for fin rot. now i need to treat one of my goldies for septicemia. and i have noticed white stringy poo and im trying to figure out wat that could mean and what to treat it with.

Stringy white poo can mean a number of things, what do you feed the fish, any signs of being bloated or skinny,is the anus red and inflamed or enlarged, is there anything prutruding from the anus, are scales sticking out like a pinecone, can the fish maintain it's balance in the water, try some shelled peas and daphnia.

nothing abnormal just white stringy poo. i feed them varitty of different brands of flakes and small pellets. occasionaly i give them finely chopped zucninni or lettuce. i also give frozen and freeze dried blood worms frozen brine shrimp on occasion. will freeze dried daphnia work. my shubunkin is fine asside from the poo prob but the sarrase is looking really stressed, the fin rot is gone but i think(i hope not) might be too late for curing the septicemia but ill get the meds asap.
is this wat i need: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...D=1125462326312

for internal bacteria in goldfish you can get medicated food in the u.s for this, its called medigold

strangly my goldfish are completely back to normal and no more white stringy poo :D . i have replaced the carbon and am getting ready for a partial. what is a good amount(i was thinking 25%). also since i have it on hand now for my betta could i use aquarium salt with my goldfish. if so the box says .5 teaspoon per gal is that right? i have noticed that the red lines on my sarrasa have lessened. should i still treat them with maracyn 2, after they have had time to relax of course.

If your fish are getting better than i dont see the need to use salt. I would only recommend using it if there was a parasite problem or a nitrite problem.
