Ghost Shrimp

I have a 55 gallon tank and Im wondering if i can put ghoast shrmip in there....There is a number of hiding places built with slate. I am going to be stocking this tank with guppies, danios, tetras, and other smaller fish. Also 1 plecostomus and maybe corys? But I will have to higher the temp. for the guppies and other fish to breed. Will the ghost shrimp much on the fish or thier fry? i was planning to put from 3 or 6 0r 9 shrimp in there...thanks

Do you need a high temp for guppies to breed? Keep it at around 78 and you'll be fine

The shrimp should do fine with the others. Make sure you don't go over 78 degrees either way.

The corys and plec shuld do well in the tank,too, though you shuld get a plec that stays small.

I thought ghost shrimp eat fry and small fish when the temp is higher?

this is 50/50 in my opinon. I think most fish think of Ghost Shrimp as a nice delicasy (sp!?). Thats just from my experience tho.
