Fun With A Cd Water And A Torch

i put a black pillow case on a little table , put the cd on the table printed side up to get focus using manual focus and live view . then i turned over the cd and used the tip of a cotton bud to place the droplets .
camera settings were manual mode , 30 sec shutter , f/32 , iso 100 . drive mode 2 sec timer to avoid shake when pressing the shutter . then while the shutter is open shine an led torch around the cd . just keep moving the torch all around the disc .

if you mean the rainbow effect , its created when the light from the torch reflects on the cd's surface .
