My gentle male frontosa was being chased around the tank earlier by Princess (terror of the tank). I think she/he is a T-bar. Anyway, Monty the fronty suddenly turned to face her open mouthed and approached her fast. She backed off then came forward again and this went on for a few minutes, then Monty opened his (rather large) mouth again and took the whole of Princess's face in his. This was repeated another 3 times, luckily no injury inflicted.

Any cich experts out there who can tell me if this is mega aggression or mating behaviour. They've both been ok since.

Oh dear! It's all gone rather quiet. ANY ideas at all?
