Hi i am looking in purchasing a freshwater pipefish. I was wondering if anyone has a freshwater pipefish (tips on care and stuff)or if anyone knows where to purchase a freshwater pipefish.

Do you know the latin name for the one you looking at?
Enneacampus ansorgii the African fresh/brakish water pipe, or theres the long snouted pipe Doryichthys boaja...
Most of them will only eat live food, They need to be kept alone or in groups, i would advise that you only look into these if your an advanced fish keeper as most tend to die within weeks,mostly due to feeding issues,
If you can look out for nmonks, another forum member here, i remember reading someone a few years back written by him, very informative, but as said unless you very skilled i would advise looking at something easier to keep
