I have No FRIGGING CLUE..... once again..... although it is a neat picture, and a good looking creature, If no one can answer, the thread ends .... lol! so lets keep to rather kinda in someway common?? is that ok? because otherwise we would just keep putting insane pictures that no one will ever guess......

That's a malayan soft shell turtle, they look so cute it the shops..but they get big and are apparently prone to fungus or something.
My turn? What do we think these are? The genus will do, since I don't expect anyone to get the species! The genus is actually very common...

Nope...very close with triops though..it is a hard one. They are Lepidurus, just as common as triops, they usually live in permanent pools, while triops live in pools that dry up.
The main morphological difference is the little plate between the furca (tail things), which is used for swimming .

I spelt it wrong...also forgot there's apparently a few fish called pike characins , Is it an African pike characin?
