'Oriental' Fire bellied toad, Bombina orientalis.
Though I don't know if they are actually aquatic or if they just spend most of their time sitting in shallow water (never seen one in an aquarium, so dont know if they can swim well or even like swimming).
This anyone?
Well, you weren't exactly right, but close enough .
The celebes halfbeak is a member of the genus nomorhamphus, and the 'wrestling halfbeak' is of the genus dermogenys.
The two halfbeaks in the picture are both nomorhamphus, but neither of them is a celebes halfbeak.
I'm worse than shops for misidentifying halfbeaks, I've only seen them once and at that time I just thought 'halfbeaks' lol.
Only difference between then and now is I have read Neale Monks page.
Beyond the genus, I wouldn't be able to ID them without that page in front of me .
