ive been offered a couple of fish bought from a LFS but have no idea what they are ,I have a 160 litre as my biggest tank at the mo, they look a little big as they are only 8 mnths apparently, they have blue/silver lines and have barbs/whiskers ..any ideas , they swim like they are from the shark family sorry for the lack of info and the crappy mobile pics.

Suggested they had Bull/snub nose in their name ???

I said i'd ask on here.

many thanks

EDIT ..sorry pics havent uploaded , will link them shortly

i can't really see it very well but it looks like an iridescent shark.

Thank you I think ..looks exactly like them ...erm, dont think I'll be putting them in any of my tanks ...Jebus H !!!!

Aye, not really an ideal fish for......well anything much in our hobby to be honest.

Crikey, they require a minimum tank size of 40 feet!
Anyone have one of those? :D

I was just having a read up on them!

You don't spend long on this site before you can recognise; pangasius, common plecs, gibbiceps and clown loach at a hundred paces.

I'm familiar with the niave purchase of clown loaches (guilty) and soon to be huuuge plecs ...but potential 2-4 ft sharks in a LFS is new to me , as I explained to the provider ,your gonna need a bigger boat..

It bothers me how every time I go to my lfs I see tanks full of clown loaches and "common plecos"....well at least they got their money.
